Teaching Assistant (Alternative Curriculum Provision)

Required 1 September 2018

Salary Pay Band KR3 (Pro-rata to £15,628 - £17,118p.a.)

32.5 Hours per Week - Term Time Only (39 weeks)

The Abbey School invites applications for the post of Teaching Assistant to work within the school’s Alternative Curriculum Provision to support some of our most vulnerable students. Minimum requirements are GCSE English and Maths C Grade or equivalent.

 

Experience, of working with vulnerable students is an advantage, but most valued is the enthusiasm to support and motivate young people and the ability to lead as a positive role model. We are seeking reliable candidates who have; patience, understanding as well as being team players.

Teacher of Social Science Full Time

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified full-time teacher of Social Science, to join our well established and supportive Department.

 

The role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is an enthusiastic, talented and passionate teacher of Social Science, with the ability to demonstrate exceptional skills to engage and inspire students in their learning. The applicant will be required to teach a full-time timetable that will include some or all of the following subjects; Psychology/Criminology/Anthropology at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

 

The successful candidate will be motivated and committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and be committed to ensuring students in their care make exceptional progress.
