Teacher of Textiles/Product Design

We are seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our new Digital Technologies/Product Design Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an enthusiastic, talented and passionate teacher of Technology and who is able to teach across all the disciplines within the department. The successful candidate will be motivated and committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and be confident that students in their care will make exceptional progress. This is an exciting opportunity as we are currently planning to build a new wing to house the Department.

The Abbey School is a wide ability 11-19 Academy of over 1000 students, with over 185 students in the sixth form. We are also an IBCP Centre and are currently oversubscribed in year 7. We have a very positive team with high staff morale.

We are seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our highly successful Science Department from April 2018 or September 2018. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an enthusiastic, talented and passionate teacher of Science. The successful candidate will be motivated and committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and be committed to ensuring students in their care make exceptional progress. The department offers core and additional Science to all students and A level Biology. Applications from NQT’s would be welcomed.
